The dental implant process begins with an initial assessment and consultation. We will then take a CT scan of your jaw to ensure that the implant is placed in the ideal location.
The implant itself is then placed inside the jawbone and allowed to heal. This takes a few months. During this time, the jawbone and implant fuse together to create a strong and stable foundation for the artificial tooth.
The implant is then covered with a prosthetic tooth that looks, functions, and feels like a natural tooth.
Once the healing process is complete, we will place an abutment, which is the piece that attaches the crown to the implant. The artificial tooth is then placed on top of the abutment.
Dental implants usually require at least three separate sessions, but the exact number of sessions can vary depending on the patient's condition.
